We are a group of independent organisations based in several countries. We are all non-political, non- profit, secular and linked by a common aim - to rehabilitate people to a better, more productive life.
Founded by aid workers who were disillusioned by the waste and bureaucracy often seen in international aid, we started in Cambodia in 1998. The aim was to deliver effective, sustainable programmes directly to those in need, with minimal bureaucracy, and with transparency at every stage.
Working with people of different ethnicities and cultures, we try not to dictate our own agendas and values, but to listen, and help them find their own solutions.
We are run by volunteers, so administration costs are kept to a bare minimum, with 98% of donations going directly to support our work.

Surgery for cleft lip & palate, landmine injuries, acid burns, other disabilities
HIV and AID’s
Psycho-social counselling for children
Educational support for children and university students
Sports and community activities
Micro-finance
Drug & alcohol rehabilitation
At-risk adolescent support

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We are small, personal and run by volunteers. We do not have any political or religious affiliations.
* We have almost no overheads
* We are incredibly cost effective; $20 can restore sight, $50 can repair a cleft palate, or make a child walk again.

We are just as cynical as you about how much of the donated dollar reaches its destination.  (Have you read 'Lords of Poverty' by Graham Hancock?) We know exactly where our donations go and can follow each dollar right down to 'the field'.
